Hyaluronic Acid (ACH)
It allows to rehydrate depth the epidermis, making its appearance smoother and increasing its thickness and volume, also decreasing the grooves of the skin, correcting the signs of aging.
The most common areas which it is applied are:
- Contour and corners of the lips
- Lip volume
- Facial volume (cheekbones)
- Lip or perioral wrinkles (around the mouth)
- Nasogenian grooves (lines of expression that go both sides from the nose to the mouth)
- External periocular wrinkles
It is a treatment that uses your own blood (specifically platelets) to stimulate the regeneration of your skin through injections.
It does not use any substance foreign to your body, which makes it a totally safe and natural procedure, returning freshness to the skin and stimulating the formation of collagen, thus achieving a healthier complexion.
Botulinum toxin type A is a biological active ingredient that blocks nerve signals, paralyzing the muscle softly and temporarily.
In Aesthetic Medicine is used in the treatment of dynamic wrinkles or expression lines of the upper half of the face. This type of wrinkles is produced by the gesticulation, that is, by the contraction of the facial muscles, among which are:
- Wrinkles in the eyebrows, like those that appear when frowning.
- Wrinkles on the forehead, horizontal.
- Crow’s feet.
Botulinum toxin relaxes the treated muscles, so when gesturing, wrinkles are minimized. Its goal is not to completely paralyze the muscle, but to soften its contraction, so that wrinkles are improved while the face continues to express emotions. This lasts approximately 6 months.
