What is Bichectomy?

Bichectomy is a procedure with which we reduce the volume of the cheeks, through an incision that is made inside the mouth of about 5 millimeters in length, where the bags of fat called bichat are removed to improve the facial contour and provide a more harmonious appearance on the face, since an adequate profiling of the facial structures is sought, highlighting the cheekbones and framing the features of the face.

It is a surgery suitable for men and women over 18 years. Complications of Bichectomy are rare, but bruises, infections, ceromas or excess inflammation may occur. Therefore, it is very important to continue with medical recommendations.
